We collaborate in the organisation of the Infoday of the IV Edition of the BFFood with the Galician Food Cluster (Clusaga), an informative day that will take place next May 3rd, from 10.00 to 12.00 hours, in our assembly hall (Campus Vida, Santiago de Compostela).
Clusaga, by virtue of being the driving force behind the BFFood, and FEUGA, by virtue of being a member of the Technical Committee and as a collaborating entity of the accelerator, bring together in this meeting authorities and representatives of the BFFood to offer a retrospective of its previous editions, the programmes it offers and the resources it makes available to its projects. In addition, all the details will be provided regarding the 4th edition, whose deadline for submitting projects is still open until 13 May.
Programme of the day
After the welcome by representatives of Clusaga, XesGalicia and FEUGA, a report on trends in the AgriFood sector in 2022 will be presented by the INTEC Foundation. This will be followed by the representatives of two BFFood mentor companies, CEAMSA and Hijos de Rivera, in a round table discussion entitled “BFFood. Challenges and solutions for the food of the future” where we will also learn about two success stories from past editions, ODS Protein and Galinsect. Opportunities for growth and valorisation of knowledge” will be the main challenges in the next section of the programme, with the participation of representatives from BFFood, Feuga, XesGalicia and Unirisco.
The closing of the day will serve to delve into the details of the IV Edition of the accelerator by representatives of Clusaga and GAIN and, finally, will give way to coffee networking.
IV Edition of BFFood
BFFood, the vertical accelerator of the Galician food sector promoted by the Xunta de Galicia and driven by Clusaga, maintains open the deadline for submission of projects to opt to be part of its IV Edition until 13 May at 14.00 hours. Innovative entrepreneurial projects, both national and international, which respond to the challenges of the sector, can apply for this candidacy.
The selected projects will be eligible for coaching programmes, specialised training, access to scientific-technical infrastructures and advanced services, mentoring from leaders in the sector, direct funding and access to investment, as well as a networking network in the food innovation ecosystem.
For the 4th edition, up to six initiatives will be selected for the 9-month acceleration programme and up to six for the 12-month consolidation programme. The acceleration programme is focused on entrepreneurial initiatives in their initial phase, which are developing or have developed a minimum viable product or service and outlined a business model. The consolidation programme is for companies already established with a defined product or service and first sales already made.
