EDIH DATAlife launches its new virtual classroom with open access to training programmes

02/12/2024

The Project takes a step forward with the development of this platform, which is free of charge and provides access to the recordings and presentations of the sectoral technology trainings held throughout 2024

The European Digital Innovation Hub EDIH DATAlife, in which FEUGA coordinates Work Package 5 for training activities, has just announced the launch of its new virtual classroom. The platform is designed to provide access to the recordings and presentations of all the training carried out in the framework of the project. This initiative is intended to provide users with a flexible and accessible tool to complete their learning at any time and place.

The new virtual platform brings together a library of educational content in one single space, segmented by the strategic sectors for Galicia in which technological training has been imparted to date. Users can easily and intuitively access the session recordings, as well as presentations and complementary materials

Upcoming trainings in 2025 will also be included in the platform, expanding the strategic sectors addressed and the technologies involved, in order to cover the training needs identified during 2023, through the proposed catalogue of trainings. This will include different training courses focused on the implementation of disruptive tools and technologies (AI, Big Data, IoT, Supercomputing and Cybersecurity) applied to the agri-food, biotechnology, healthcare, aquaculture, forestry-wood and cross-cutting sectors. It aims to facilitate technological implementations for SMEs working in these sectors.

The Virtual Classroom is the result of a collaborative effort between several EDIH partners: FEUGA, as project coordinators for the definition and implementation of training activities, DIH DATAlife, as project coordinators, and the Galician Supercomputing Centre (CESGA), as platform and software support providers.

Access to the platform will be completely free of charge and will be available on a permanent basis for those users who register.
