The PROTEINLEG Task Force is organizing a hybrid technical seminar in Madrid on Thursday, February 16, which includes a tasting of vegan tuna based on pea protein, the prototype resulting from the innovation project developed by one of the Task Force partners, MIMIC SeaFood.
Starting in 2021 and lasting more than 2 years, the PROTEINLEG project, focused on the development of high quality dietary proteins through sustainable production and processing of legume crops, is about to come to an end. Precisely this event is part of the closing activities of its activity, where the main results obtained will be presented. Likewise, the procedures followed for the development of animal feed (pigs and chickens), in which peas have been used as a source of protein instead of soybeans, will be presented.
We coordinate the conference together with MIMIC SeaFood, with the participation of the other partners Centro Tecnolóxico da Carne, CTC; Misión Biolóxica de Galicia, MBG, CSIC; Semillas Ramiro Arnedo, S.A. and Almacenes Gamallo. Attendance is completely free, with previous registration.
